Job summary

MarinHealth Medical Network is seeking a Medical Assistant - Front/Back Swing to support clinicians in rooming patients, recording vitals, and assisting with procedures.

Under the supervision of the Clinical Lead and Practice Leader, you will manage patient flow, document care in the EMR, and help ensure safe, efficient clinic operations while maintaining high compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification (NHA/AMCA) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of related medical assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, reason for visit and symptoms details.
• Provide injections, immunizations and assist during procedures.
• Document information in electronic medical records and manage referrals and prescriptions.
• Maintain patient records and protect patient confidentiality.
