Job summary

Englewood Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician for the PMG department in Tenafly, NJ. The role supports patient registration, care coordination, and flow from waiting to exam rooms in a day shift (9am–5pm).

High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years MA/PCT experience is required; completion of an accredited program is preferred; CPR certification is required. Experience with medical terminology and practice management systems is preferred; benefits include health

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of primary health and patient care management.
• Interview patients or representatives to obtain personal, demographic, and financial information.
• Perform routine clerical, secretarial and administrative tasks related to patient registration.
• Support flow of patients from waiting area to exam rooms and prepare patients for physician time.
