Job summary

Englewood Health in Tenafly is seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist for a full-time, day-shift role (9am to 5pm). You will interview patients, collect essential demographics and insurance information, and perform front-desk tasks to support efficient clinic flow.

Experience with medical terminology and practice management systems is preferred. Organization and customer service skills are essential for accurate registration and data entry.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical terminology and practice management systems preferred.
• Interviews patients and collects personal, demographic and financial information.
• Performs routine clerical and front-desk duties to support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of primary health and patient care management.
• Assist with patient flow from waiting area to exam rooms.
• Prepare patients for examinations to maximize physician time.

Education

High School Graduate or equivalent or 5 years of Medical Assistant/PCT experience

Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician (PCT)
