Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to support coordinated patient care under supervision. You will prepare exam rooms, document vitals and medical history, and assist with procedures across AHN locations.

Requirements include a Medical Assistant program completion or equivalent, with certification training within 120 days if applicable. A sign-on bonus is available for external hires and travel between AHN locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High School / GED or completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
• Certification training/testing within 30 days of hire and certification within 120 days for eligible employees.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating patient care under supervision of the health care provider.
• Prepare and room patients; obtain vitals and document history and screenings.
• Perform back office testing and assist with examinations and procedures.
