Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED; completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Certification within 120 days of hire if required by AHN policy.
• Experience with EHRs and essential clinical workflows is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate patient care under supervision of the provider using a team-based approach.
• Prepare rooms, take vital signs, document patient information and medical history.
• Review medication lists in the EHR and assist with screenings and renewals.
• Perform back-office testing and assist with examinations and procedures.
• May serve as a scribe and handle clerical duties and inventory.
• May travel between AHN locations as needed.
