Job summary

TexomaCare, affiliated with Universal Health Services, Inc., seeks a Medical Assistant to support patient care under physician supervision. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, taking vital signs, venipuncture, and assisting with examinations.

The role covers front desk support and room preparation in a busy primary care setting within Texoma region. A Medical Assistant Certificate and CPR/BLS are required, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Medical Assistant Certificate of Completion or 1 year MA experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment of patients under physician direction.
• Interview patients and measure vital signs.
• Perform venipuncture and other procedures as directed.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist at the front desk as needed.
