Job summary

Texoma Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in patient examinations and treatments. You will interview patients, take vitals, perform venipuncture, and document in the EMR under physician guidance.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms and assisting at the front desk. A High School diploma and MA certificate or experience are required, with bilingual English/Spanish helpful for diverse patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate of Completion or one year of MA experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology required.
• Experience with patient check-in/out per clinic protocol.
• General medical office procedures.
• Proficiency in basic computer programs including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of patient care duties under the direction of a physician.
• Interview patients, measure vitals, venipuncture, and related procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist at front desk as needed.
