Zusammenfassung

Marathon Health is hiring an experienced Medical Assistant to join our Arizona team. You will support a primary care physician, perform clinical and front-desk duties, and contribute to an excellent patient experience in our value-based care model.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from an approved Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred/required in applicable states.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Review medical information and gather relevant updates for providers.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications/immunizations per order from provider.
• Coordinate care with the team and address gaps in care.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Document data in medical records per guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate to patients.
• Engage patients for outreach and care program participation.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
