Marathon Health in Peoria, AZ is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will support physicians, perform routine clinical tasks, and ensure a welcoming patient experience in a busy primary care setting.

The role includes front desk responsibilities, vitals, specimen collection, vaccinations, and collaboration with labs and specialists. Requires MA program completion and CPR/BLS; certification preferred.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Escorts patients to room and ensures exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds.
• Work with contracted labs for additional tests.
• Prepares and administers medications and immunizations per order.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and coordination.
• Records data in medical chart per documentation guidelines.
• Processes test results and communicates to patients as directed.
• Participates in outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
• Maintains supplies and equipment for treatments.

Conocimientos

Medical Assistant experience

CPR/BLS certification

Phlebotomy experience

Educación

MA program graduate

MA certification/registration preferred
