Job summary

Requirements include at least 1 year MA experience, state or national certification, CPR/BLS, EMR proficiency, and strong communication in a diverse team. This is an on‑site Chicago position with full‑time hours.

Qualifications

• State or national certification required or graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
• 1 year of MA experience required.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• EMR experience required.
• Strong computer and data entry skills (Gmail/Docs/Excel).
• US work authorization required.
• Proficiency in non-English languages as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient patient flow by rooming patients and taking vital signs.
• Complete screenings and medication reviews.
• Inventory supplies and stock exam rooms.
• Respond to patient requests for telephonic support and lab results.
• Administer vaccinations and point-of-care tests when permitted.
• Import documents into EMR and assist in care team meetings.
• Process orders for durable medical equipment.
• Maintain infection control and center lab quality.
