Marathon Health Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team in Decatur, IL. The MA will support a primary care physician, acting as both a medical receptionist and assisting with clinical duties to deliver high‑quality patient care and an exceptional guest experience.

The role requires completion of a formal MA program, CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year of MA experience; phlebotomy experience is preferred. Competitive benefits, PTO, and scrubs coverage are offered.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred/required by state.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, collect specimens, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Process test results and provide timely results via e-message, mail, or phone.
• Support care team to develop patient care plans and address gaps in care.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.
