Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• Eligible for certification by AMT, AAMA, NHA or NAHP within 12 months of hire.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in patient exams, procedures, and dressing changes.
• Perform general administrative duties per policies and procedures.
• Record patient vitals and enter data in EMR.
• Administer medications as directed and perform venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality per HIPAA and standards.
