Job summary

Actalent is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our clinical team in St. Louis, MO. The role includes preparing exam rooms, obtaining charts, and supporting patient flow in a primary care setting with eight providers.

Ideal candidates will have RMA/CCMA certification, BLS, and experience with Epic EMR. This onsite, contract-to-hire position offers a stable schedule and competitive pay in a fully onsite environment.

Qualifications

• RMA (AMT) or CCMA (NHA) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficiency using Epic EMR and EMR systems.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with patients in a clinic setting and complete clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, performing phlebotomy, and verifying medications.
• Prepare for office hours by obtaining charts, scheduling tests, and preparing exam rooms.
