Job summary

BJC Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support primary care teams. You will prepare exam rooms, obtain vital signs, and maintain charting in Epic, assisting providers across diabetes, hypertension, and general care.

Required: High School Diploma or GED. CPR certification preferred. This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers exposure to a broad range of clinical tasks and patient interactions in a busy clinic near the St. Louis area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and stocks supplies in exam rooms.
• Obtains vital signs, patient history and maintains accurate charting in the patient's record.
• Performs clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing and injections.
• Triage calls and presents test and lab results to the provider with correct medical terminology.
