Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs.
• Updates patient medications and allergy lists.
• Records information in the EMR.
• Prepares treatment rooms and stocks supplies.
• Assists providers during examinations and procedures.
• Schedules appointments and manages referrals per guidelines.
• Inventory and orders medical supplies; ensures proper labeling.
• Uses Cerner and GroupWise per established protocols for documentation.
• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms.
• Maintains sterilization of instruments and prepares them for use.
