Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years; combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides general back-office support to physicians.
• Assist provider with exams as needed.
• Stock and monitor inventory levels of medical supplies.
• Monitors and maintains medication sample closet.
• Prepares and assists patient for testing; obtain results and notify patient as instructed by physician.
• Answer patient calls in a prompt and professional manner.
• Review of chart after chart prep.
• Train back-office staff as requested by Office Administrator.
• Responds and complies with information requests via fax and other methods.
• Complete requests within office policy timeframes.
• Follow confidentiality rules for patient information.
• Deliver information to patient care or designated areas.
• Complete referral process for specified procedures when requested.
• Provide leadership and guidance for customer service.
• Communicate and engage effectively with others.
• Continually seek opportunities to learn and improve information transfer processes.
• Follow and maintain policy and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.
