Responsibilities

• Provides general back-office support to physicians.
• Assist provider with exams as needed.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Record and update medical histories and contact information in patient files.
• Prepare patients for testing and obtain results as instructed.
• Answer patient calls promptly and professionally.
• Responsible for final review of chart after chart prep.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Train back-office staff on an as-needed basis when requested by Office Administrator.
• Follow office policies and procedures.
