Job summary

CenterWell in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant 2 to serve as the first contact for patient care. You will handle administrative tasks and deliver direct patient care under supervision, including vaccinations, phlebotomy, and vital signs, while maintaining the EMR and coordinating with physicians and APPs.

The role requires MA training or certification, CPR, and a high school diploma. TB screening is required, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a 40-hour week in a patient-facing

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified
• TB screening required for role

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms with patients and obtain vital signs
• Administer medications and vaccines
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens
• Conduct diagnostic screening tests and sterilize equipment
• Document information into the electronic medical records system
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
