Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Florida is hiring a Medical Assistant. You will be the first point of contact for patient care, handling administrative tasks and clinical duties, including vital signs, phlebotomy, and vaccination administration.

You will collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers, document in the EMR, and follow established procedures. A valid MA certification or 1+ year MA experience, CPR, and bilingual English/Spanish are preferred.

Qualifications

• Required: MA school/training or Certified/Registered MA or 5+ years of experience with provider approval.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Role involves patient-facing activities including TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patient care.
• Perform clinical duties: vital signs, phlebotomy, medication/vaccine administration, exams, and documentation in EMR.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Follow standard procedures with some discretion and prioritization.
