Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time, 100% FTE role in northern Illinois. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays, with varying start times 7:30am–4:00pm or 8:30am–5:00pm at the UW Health Carbone Cancer Center.

Job description

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday - Friday no weekends and no holidays, shift start times vary 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:30am-5:00pm. You will work at UW Health Carbone Cancer Center 3535 Bell School Rd.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred
• Computer experience. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required
