Job summary

UW Health Carbone Cancer Center in Rockford, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time, 100% FTE position. Shifts run 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday–Friday; no weekends or holidays.

You’ll work at 3535 Bell School Rd with a focus on clinical support and patient care. Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
• One year of professional experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• Computer experience required.
• RMA/AAMA/CCMA/NCCT certification required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification required.
• Active certification must be maintained.

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday - Friday no weekends and no holidays, shift start times vary 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:30am-5:00pm. You will work at UW Health Carbone Cancer Center 3535 Bell School Rd.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Overtime

Qualifications
