Job summary

UW Health in Rockford is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations. You will work from Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, assisting in patient care and clinic management.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited Associate degree program or 2 years of relevant experience.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Certification required upon hire (RMA, AAMA, CCMA, NCCT).

Job description

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday through Friday 7:30am–4:00pm, 40 hours per week; 8 hour day shifts. No weekends and no holidays. You will work at UW Health Marchesano Dr. Clinic 815 Marchesano Drive

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
• Overtime

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred
• Computer experience. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. Required
• Bi-Annual CPR certification. Required
• Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required
