Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority seeks a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) – Oncology to join a nationally recognized cancer care team in Madison. The role supports patients from check-in through procedures with vitals capture and prep for exams.

You'll collaborate with palliative care, nutrition, genetics and health psychology to tailor each patient’s plan of care, delivering compassionate, patient-family centered care that promotes healthy living.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program is required.
• Licensure as an LPN is required or in process.
• Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or Employee Partner Medical Assistant Program is preferred.
• CCMA certification as a UWH employee is acceptable.
• Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program - Accelerated is possible.
• One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification is required.
