Job summary

UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a Medical Assistant for a 100% FTE role at the UW Health Charles St. Clinic in Rockford. Positional duties include clinical support in a busy outpatient setting, with a schedule Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm.

The ideal candidate has an accredited MA program or two years of relevant experience, plus CPR and active MA certification (RMA/CCMA/AAMA/NCCT). Benefits include PTO, health, retirement, and tuition assistance. On-site daycare may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. You will work at UW Health Charles St. Clinic 1340 Charles St.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
• Overtime
