Hackley Community Care in Muskegon, MI is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support a multidisciplinary team in delivering patient-centered care. This full-time role, under supervision, assists providers with examinations, patient prep, and documentation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities Include

• Support providers by preparing patients for examinations and procedures
• Collect and document vital signs and patient histories
• Scribe during medical examinations or complete training to become a medical scribe
• Ensure examination rooms and medical equipment are properly maintained
• Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information
• Contribute to quality initiatives and organizational standards, including QA/PI, HEDIS, PCMH, and other accreditation requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Current Medical Assistant certification preferred

• Working knowledge of insurance types is a plus
