Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, PAs, and NPs. You will manage patient flow, prepare examination rooms, document vitals and medications in the EHR, and assist with scheduling and referrals.

The role requires strong communication in English and a basic computer literacy. Ideally, you have a medical assistant or phlebotomy program background and 0–1 year of related experience; BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program required.
• 0-1 year related work experience required; 2-4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination room and assist in patient flow.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and prepare information for visits.
• Document vitals, allergies, and medications in EHR; coordinate scheduling and referrals.
