Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and advance patient care. The MA will manage patient flow, prepare exam rooms, document vitals in EHR, and assist with referrals in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; BLS is preferred. English communication skills are essential, and willingness to commute to satellite offices is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; MA program graduation preferred.
• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination room and assist physicians, PA, or NP.
• Escort patients and maintain efficient patient flow.
• Document patient information and vital signs in EHR/PMS.
• Schedule appointments and manage refusals or referrals as needed.
• Maintain supplies and ensure compliance with safety and privacy policies.
