Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a variable-shift, PRN, Float Pool Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. This role provides superior patient care and supports a clinic-based care team led by a physician or advanced practice provider.

Required: high school diploma or GED, basic EMR and Microsoft Office knowledge, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Preferred: associate’s degree, CMA or RMA certification, and prior clinic or hospital experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic EMR and MS Office knowledge required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program preferred.
• Current CMA or RMA certification preferred.
• Prior clinic or hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior patient care in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician or APP.
• Perform administrative and delegated clinical tasks to support patients.
