Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a day-shift, full-time Outpatient Cardiothoracic Medical Assistant to join our clinic team. You will provide patient care and handle administrative tasks in a clinic-based setting under the supervision of the physician or APP.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, basic EMR and MS Office skills, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Preference for CMA/RMA and an associate degree.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Associate’s degree.
• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
• Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care.
• Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
