UNM Medical Group, Inc. is hiring for a Medical Assistant to join our Float Pool. We have full‑time opportunities for our day shift opening located in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Compensation & Benefits

• Sign‑On Bonus – $2,000*
• Salary: Minimum $38,948 – Midpoint $47,818*
• Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.
• Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours per week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.

Minimum Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Program Graduate Certificate
• If applicable, current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• BLS certification

The Medical Assistant Float Pool position for Medical Group, Inc. Clinics will serve in both an administrative front‑desk role as well as clinical back‑office duties, including assisting with procedures, triaging, and quality initiative projects. The float‑pool MA will staff in all of our Medical Group, Inc. Clinics including:
