Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Day-shift, full-time Electrophysiology Medical Assistant (MA). You will support patient care in a clinic setting, perform necessary administrative tasks, and work with a care team led by physicians and advanced practitioners.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, basic EMR and MS Office skills, and BLS within 14 days of hire. Preferred are an MA degree and CMA/RMA certification, with a sign-on bonus offered in some cases.

The Medical Assistant Non-Certified provides superior patient care and perform s administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patient s in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and /or advanced practice provider .

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Associate’s degree.
• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
• Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care
• Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
