Job summary

Lovelace Health System seeks a day-shift, full-time Medical Assistant (MA) in Albuquerque, NM, to provide patient care and support clinic operations. The role includes administrative and delegated clinical tasks within a care team led by physicians or Advanced Practice Providers.

Preferred candidates may have an Associate’s degree or CMA/RMA certification, EMR and MS Office proficiency, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. A $2500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant Non-Certified provides superior patient care and perform s administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patient s in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and /or advanced practice provider .

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge .
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Associate’s degree .
• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
• Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care.
• Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) .
