Job summary

Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM seeks an Electrophysiology HOPD Medical Assistant (MA) for day shifts. The role supports clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced outpatient setting, under physician or APP supervision. A $2500 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

The MA will assist with patient flow, maintain EMR documentation, and participate in a team focused on high-quality patient care. A high school diploma or GED and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic EMR and MS Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program preferred.
• Current CMA or RMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Medical Assistant Non-Certified provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider.
