Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a day-shift, full-time Vascular Medical Assistant (MA) to join our clinic team. The role supports patient care and administrative duties within a physician-led care team.

A $2,500 sign-on bonus may be available for eligible candidates. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, EMR and Microsoft Office proficiency, and BLS certification within two weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree or completion of an accredited MA program.

Responsibilities

• The Medical Assistant Non-Certified provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician or APP.

Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant Non-Certified provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patients in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Associate’s degree.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
• Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care
• Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
