Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, required.
• Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Prepares examination room and escorts patient in.
• Maintains efficient patient flow.
• Prepares information for patient visits.
• Documents vitals and allergies in EHR.
• Schedules appointments according to guidelines.
• Stocking and ordering supplies as needed.
• Translates patient needs into care with physicians, PAs, or NPs.
