Ascension's Seton Lockhart Internal Medicine unit seeks a Full-time, day-shift Medical Support role in Lockhart, TX. You will conduct clinical interviews and capture vital signs to ensure the care team has accurate data for diagnosis, while maintaining sterile treatment rooms for physician focus on patient care.

Responsibilities include managing clinical records, coordinating patient care journeys, and ensuring supplies.

Qualifikationen

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire or transfer date required.
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Required licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine experience preferred.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Facilitate seamless patient transitions by conducting clinical interviews and capturing vital signs to ensure the care team has the most accurate data for diagnosis.
• Optimize clinical workflows by preparing and maintaining sterile, organized treatment rooms that allow physicians to focus entirely on patient care.
• Coordinate patient care journeys by managing clinical records and communications with precision, ensuring no detail of the treatment plan is missed.
• Maintain a high-standard care environment by managing medical inventory and supplies, ensuring the team is always equipped to provide immediate patient support.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
• Education:
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
• Additional Preferences:
  • Internal Medicine or Family Medicine experience
  • Athena experience
  • Travel Required: Weekly travel to Luling, TX
