Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Medical Assistant 2 to be the first point of contact, performing clinical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include gathering patient information, inputting data into EMR, taking vitals, injections, and assisting physicians in an outpatient setting.

The role requires MA education or 5+ years’ experience, CPR certification, and TB screening compliance. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may require a proficiency exam.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR Certified.
• TB screening requirement for role.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties: take vital signs, input data into EMR, and assist physicians.
• Discuss symptoms, collect specimens, draw blood, and prepare examination rooms.
• Deliver direct patient care within certification scope and adhere to policies.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to support patient care.
