Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care in Dania Beach, FL seeks a Medical Assistant 2 to be the first contact for patient care, handling clinical duties and administrative tasks onsite. You will work under supervision, performing vital signs, vaccinations, phlebotomy, and patient documentation in the EMR system.

The role requires a high school diploma or MA training, CPR certification, and preference for bilingual English/Spanish speakers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of MA school/training program or CMA/RMA or 5+ years experience with Provider approval.
• CPR Certification.
• TB screening required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical responsibilities incl. vital signs, vaccines, phlebotomy, specimens, and diagnostic tests.
• Sterilize and clean equipment; maintain examination rooms; document in EMR.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Deliver direct patient care within scope allowed by certification.
• Follow policy interpretations and prioritize tasks within defined parameters.
