Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant 3 to serve as the first point of contact for patient care. The role combines administrative duties with hands-on clinical tasks, including phlebotomy, vaccination, and specimen collection, supported by EMR documentation and teamwork with physicians and advanced practice providers.

The ideal candidate possesses advanced MA skills, can mentor others, and participates in the TB screening program.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered
• Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• 1+ years MA experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified
• TB screening program participation required

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms and obtain vital signs.
• Perform clinical duties including phlebotomy, vaccine administration, specimen collection, and diagnostic screening tests.
• Maintain and document information in the electronic medical records system.
• Collaborate closely with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Provide advanced guidance to other Medical Assistants and prioritize administrative tasks with independent judgment.
