Job summary

CareMore Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinic. The role connects patients, providers, and care teams to promote efficient operations and accurate documentation.

You will greet patients, prepare charts, document vital signs, support procedures, and assist with medication administration, while ensuring a positive patient experience and accurate records throughout the visit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant certificate/certification required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills may be required depending on location.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required.
• Tuberculosis test clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with patient examinations and treatments under physician direction.
• Provide front and/or back office clinical support per protocols.
• Greet patients and facilitate a positive patient experience.
• Manage patient check-in, verify charts and paperwork.
• Interview patients, document vital signs and reason for visit.
• Explain procedures, perform treatments, and administer prescribed medications.
• Manage check-out, schedule follow-ups and collect co-payments.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, daily reconciliation of co-pays.
