Qualifications

• Completion of MA Core Skills and role-specific competencies.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs and report to providers.
• Perform vital signs, basic procedures, and medication refills per protocol.
• Maintain accurate chart documentation and support care planning with the team.
• Educate patients and families and promote self-management and engagement.
• Mentor new MA staff or MA students as needed.
