Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• BLS through American Heart Association required.
• National CMA/CCMA/RMA certification required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant core skills and specialty competencies as defined within scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of clinical tasks as directed by providers and maintain accurate chart documentation.
• Assist with front office duties as needed and support efficient clinic operations.
• Contribute to patient plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide patient/family education and assess learning needs and barriers.
