You will engage in patient education, health promotion, and care plan execution while mentoring new staff and contributing to the MA Clinical Ladder. The role emphasizes reliability, patient-centered care, and teamwork in a Magnet-designated environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• National CMA/Clinical Medical Assistant or a listed credential (AAMA/AMT/ARMA/NAHP/NHA/NCCT).
• Complete Medical Assistant Core Skills and specialty competencies as per Scope of Practice.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs and report to the provider.
• Perform clinical tasks, monitor vital signs, and assist with procedures to ensure efficient clinic flow.
• Contribute to care planning with the interdisciplinary team and support patient self-management.
• Educate patients and families, assess health literacy, and evaluate teaching effectiveness.
• Encourage patient engagement using motivational interviewing and self-management tools.
• Precept and mentor new staff or MA students as needed.
