Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston is seeking a Medical Assistant to support healthcare providers and enhance the patient experience. You will welcome patients, gather health information, and prepare exam rooms while documenting medical histories and test results.

The role requires 1–2 years of MA or medical field experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and BLS/CMA certifications are preferred. Onsite location at 55 Fruit Street with 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• BLS Certification and CMA certification preferred.
• Direct MA experience or medical field work 1-2 years required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, interview, and assist patients while collecting vital signs and health information.
• Prepare patients, exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for visits.
• Accurately document patient information, medical histories, and test results.
• Support laboratory specimen collection and preparation.
• Assist with office duties, patient communication, and coordination with other departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to provide excellent patient service.
