Job summary

Mass General Brigham is hiring a Patient Care Assistant at 50 Staniford Street in Boston. You will welcome patients, collect vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and support clinical staff to ensure smooth, compassionate care.

You'll document patient information in the EHR, handle routine office duties, and maintain a clean clinical environment while working with physicians and nurses. This onsite role requires excellent communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate's Degree Medical Assisting preferred.
• BLS Certification and CMA certification preferred.
• Direct MA experience or medical field work 1-2 years required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, interview, and assist patients while collecting vital signs and health information.
• Prepare patients, exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for visits.
• Accurately document patient information, medical histories, and test results.
• Support laboratory specimen collection and preparation.
• Assist with office duties, patient communication, and coordination with other departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
