AltaMed Health Services Corp. seeks a Medical Assistant II to function as the clinic ambassador, delivering patient care with compassion and professionalism. The MA II will document in the EHR, provide clerical and back-office support, and mentor other MAs to improve patient flow and outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a MA certificate and a high school diploma, with 1+ year of outpatient experience and BLS at minimum. Bilingual capabilities are strongly preferred, varying by location.

Qualifikationen

• A Medical Assistant certificate is required along with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of back office MA experience preferred in outpatient/clinic settings.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; Nationally recognized MA certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese depending on location strongly preferred.
• A valid BLS certification or higher is required.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct patient care and clinical support in the outpatient setting.
• Document all specialties in the EHR and assist with administrative tasks.
• Mentor and train Medical Assistant team; support Back-Office processes.
• Assist in achieving department goals and participating in patient care flow.
