Qualifications

• A Medical Assistant certificate, along with a high school diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following AHA/Red Cross guidelines.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care and routine procedures in the clinical setting.
• Document all specialties in the EHR and provide administrative support to the Nursing Supervisor/Manager.
• Mentor and train Medical Assistant team; support Back-Office processes.
• Provide other duties at the Patient Service Center by telephone when needed.
