AltaMed Health Services Corp. seeks a Medical Assistant II to serve as an AltaMed ambassador at the assigned clinic or PSC. The MA will welcome patients, assist in direct patient care, perform routine procedures, and provide technical/clerical support.

The role includes documenting in the EHR and mentoring a MA team to help achieve department goals. Responsibilities extend to providing back-office support, managing patient expectations with compassion, and offering telephone support at the

Competenze

• Medical Assistant certificate and high school diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of back office MA experience in outpatient/clinic setting.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• National MA certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred (location dependent).
• Valid BLS certification or higher required.

Mansioni

• Provide routine patient care and clerical support in the clinical setting.
• Document all specialties in the EHR and assist with back-office processes under supervision.
• Mentor and train Medical Assistant team and support Nursing Supervisor/Manager.
• At Patient Service Center, provide other duties over the telephone as needed.
