AltaMed Health Services is seeking a Medical Assistant II to act as an ambassador at the assigned clinic or service team, delivering compassionate patient care and managing expectations. The MA will document specialties in the EHR and support administrative tasks, while mentoring the MA team and contributing to department goals.

The role requires a Medical Assistant certificate with a high school diploma, 1+ year back-office MA experience, and strong bilingual abilities.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certificate and high school diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year back-office MA experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• National MA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care in the clinical setting.
• Document all specialties in the EHR.
• Support Back-Office processes and assist Nursing Supervisor/Manager.
• Mentor and train Medical Assistant team as needed.
