Capital Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support frontline patient care in our Hamilton, OH facilities. You will prepare patients for examination, take vitals, assist clinicians, handle clerical tasks, and maintain clean exam rooms.

This role requires a post-secondary medical assisting program and current MA certification from a recognized body; BLS is required; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• Current certification from a recognized medical assisting board (AAMA/NCCT/AMCA/NAHP/NCMA/AMT).
• AHA BLS required; non-licensed must obtain before end of orientation.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance specifications; excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and documenting history.
• Assist physicians and staff; prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies.
• Perform electrocardiograms and point-of-care tests per policy.
• Register patients, schedule appointments, and maintain medical records in EMR.
• Coordinate with front office for discharge paperwork, referrals, and education.
